Black Hole Creator
- CHAPTER 4 -
Black Hole Creator
Scientists have built a large particle collider that will enable them

to create conditions similar to the Big Bang event. It will also create mini black holes. They hope the data from these experiments will give a better understanding of physics. But some people believe that these are dangerous experiments that could accidentally destroy the earth.
Possible Benefits
Concerns & Fears
This is the Jurassic Park for particle physicists... Some of the particles they are making now or are about to make haven't been around for 14 billion years.
Phillip F. Schewe
Physicist
We're exploring the very forefront of physics and cosmology with the Large Hadron Collider because we want to have a window on creation.
Michio Kaku
Physicist
The energy of the collisions are the highest ever generated on Earth, allowing us to study the interactions that occurred in the early universe
